The Mansfield ISD is accepting online submissions for an official motto.
The School Board adopted a Strategic Plan in the summer of 2011 that included new mission and belief statements for Mansfield ISD.
Mission - Mansfield ISD ensures educational and personal success by:
- aspiring to high academic standards
- fostering a community built on mutual support and excellence
- delivering innovative educational opportunities
- cultivating productive, lifelong learners.
Criteria: Motto submissions must be clear and concise and will be judged on if they clearly capture the MISD Mission.
Eligibility: Anyone in the Mansfield ISD community of parents, students, staff, and patrons are eligible to enter the contest.
UPDATE: The motto contest submission form closed at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
The contest starts Thursday, January 12 and ends 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Winners will be selected by a committee of judges made up of employees and community members. The winning submission and author will be announced in February.
